The Vendor Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end vendor experience at Gum Pop Presents events. From recruiting and onboarding vendors to coordinating communications, managing registration, assisting with marketing, and overseeing day-of logistics, this role is vital to our continued success and reputation.
You’ll collaborate closely with the internal team and serve as the main point of contact for hundreds of small business vendors each season. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and excited about helping entrepreneurs shine.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Relations & Communication
Manage online vendor onboarding
Maintain and update vendor application and event logistics pages
Manage general vendor communication for events
Manage vendor payment systems
Recruitment & Research
Identify and recruit new vendors/breweries/food trucks that fit event goals and themes (e.g., food, coffee, face painting)
Research other markets and events for potential vendor leads
Event Planning & Logistics
Collaborate on event capacity planning and booth sales
Create and update site maps and vendor assignments in coordination with leadership
Help prevent overbooking and ensure balanced event layouts
Vendor Marketing Support
Update event pages and vendor listings on websites
Collaborate with Markets on vendor preview features for social media
Encourage vendor participation in cross-promotion
Maintain and update the Vendor Blog with fresh content
Brainstorm creative ways to highlight and market vendors
On-Site Event Support
Manage and coordinate vendor load-in process and troubleshoot on-site issues
Train and supervise vendor load-in/load-out staff and volunteers
Forecast and plan for potential vendor challenges alongside senior team members
Qualifications
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience with events, vendor relations, or small business support
Comfortable managing both digital systems and in-person logistics
Proficiency with tools like Google Workspace, email software, and basic website editing
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks independently
Customer-service mindset with problem-solving abilities
Available for weekend and evening events as needed
Familiarity with Denver’s local maker/market scene is a huge plus

Position Summary
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team part-time. This role will primarily support our vendor-facing processes from onboarding through event completion, with an emphasis on digital communication and community engagement. Ideal for someone who’s organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about local events.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Coordination:
Manage online vendor onboarding, communication, and logistics
Maintain and update vendor application and event logistics pages
Community Outreach:
Identify and notify neighborhoods about upcoming events
Distribute posters and yard signs locally
Event Syndication:
Copy/paste event listings into relevant community calendars and websites
Track and update where events are listed to ensure broad visibility
Social Media Engagement:
Respond to DMs and comments across social channels (primarily Instagram)
Shift into light curation—finding and posting relevant content during downtime
Support Team Ops:
Assist Market Managers as needed (with potential to grow into on-site roles)
Take initiative on admin tasks during slow periods to keep things moving
Ideal Qualifications
Strong organizational and written communication skills
Expertise in Google Workspace and web-based tools
Social media savvy, especially Instagram
A knack for noticing details and taking initiative during quiet stretches
Comfort working independently and managing your own time
Reliable transportation for occasional in-person tasks
Bonus if you have:
Experience with events, markets, or vendor coordination
An interest in growing into on-site event support or market management
A good eye for design or content that aligns with our brand
Position Details

Position Summary
We’re hiring dependable, energetic, and community-minded individuals to join our Event Staff team. This is a flexible, on-call position that offers a variety of responsibilities depending on the event and your skillset. Whether you’re leading operations, helping vendors set up, selling tickets, or making sure the site stays clean and welcoming — your work helps make our events a success.
Responsibilities May Include
Market/Event Management:
Oversee on-site setup, vendor check-in, and event flow
Troubleshoot issues and ensure the event runs smoothly
Assist with tear-down and packing of event materials
Guest Services & Ticketing:
Greet attendees, sell tickets, manage check-in lines
Provide information about the event and address questions
Vendor & Site Support:
Assist vendors with load-in/load-out
Set up tents, tables, signage, fencing, etc.
Operations & Maintenance:
Help with trash pick-up, recycling, and restroom management
Monitor the site throughout the event to keep things clean and organized
Requirements
Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
Punctual, reliable, and a team player
Available to work weekends and occasional evenings
Bonus if you have:
Experience in events, festivals, hospitality, or customer service
Leadership or logistics experience (especially if interested in Market Manager roles)
